Air Blast Overpressure & Ground-borne Vibration

The blast vibration calculator can be used to estimate air-blast overpressure and ground-borne vibration at a specified distance away from a blast of known maximum instantaneous charge. An Overpressure or Air-Blast Overpressure can be defined as the increase in pressure caused by a shock wave over and above normal atmospheric pressure. This shock wave can be as a result from an explosion or sonic boom and is of particular interest in places where blasting is being performed.
